They are famous for its two peaks, the north being the highest. This mountain is located in the Llaca creek and climbing can be done in 2 or 3 days.
It is one of the most accessible mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, due to its easy access, short approach from Huaraz.
Itinerary:
Duration: 2 1/2 hours (car), 4 hours (walking)
Pick up from hotel, transportation takes us to Cebollapampa 3900m.snm Here we met with the carriers and their mules. We headed toward the base camp of Pisco 4600 m approximately 3 to 4 hours. After a snack, we took the afternoon to check and prepare the teams for the next day climbing.
Duration: 7 hours approx.
It leaves very early (3-4 am) to the summit, the glacier is followed by gentle slopes until we passed through the left side of Vallunaraju south, we reached the Col connecting the two peaks, take the left path with a slope of 40 ° to reach the summit; from the top get breathtaking views of Huaylas and the city of Huaraz, the return is by the same route to the moraine camp.
