Olleros Trek

The trekking route Olleros to Carhuascancha is a magical journey in a remote and beautiful virgin of the Cordillera Blanca South is not known by many travelers who make trekking area. The trail continues through an ancient pre Inca route and get fantastic views of the mountains, waterfalls many blue lakes, beautiful mountains and traditional high Andean villages. After finishing the walk we can visit the famous archeological complex of Chavin, which is the oldest and most advanced in South America Pre-Inca civilization.

Itinerary:

Duration: 1.5 hours (car), 4 to 5 hours (walking)

We leave Huaraz at 8 am. and then reach Canrey Chico (3550m) where we will find our personnel carriers and donkeys mountain from here began our walk, which is quite easy and go enjoy the splendid views and the peaks of the Cordillera Blanca. Then Sacracancha reach our first camp (3800m).

Duration: 5 hours approx.

We start walking to Yanashallash where we can enjoy the splendid views. Then we will go downhill to the camp to SHONCOPAMPA (3850 m). Walking through a stone path Pre-Inca.

Duration: 5 hours approx.

We begin the walk downhill for 4 hours to Chavin, then you can visit the archaeological site, return to Huaraz.
