Chopicalqui 6354 m

Chopicalqui the southwest ridge of 6354 m. high, offers a moderate increase with exposure sufficient to keep adrenaline levels climber, it is not surprising that this route is a favorite of many climbers.

Itinerary:

Pick up at the hotel with private transportation to go to the north side of Huaraz, passing the Llanganuco Chinancocha and Orconcocha up curve Chopicalqui, we start walking for 02 hours uphill to the Valley Ancush between Huascaran and Chopicalqui, arrive at Base Camp around 3:00 pm.

After breakfast we will hike up the moraine camp for 4 hours, during this walk we can enjoy the spectacular view of Huandoy Pisco and Chacraraju, after arriving at camp in the afternoon we will check our climbing equipment for the next day camp to (4700m).

This day we walk on the glacier to the camp overnight in the glacier.

This day will leave early grasped the summit where we will have an amazing view of different mountains that are around this summit, as the Huascaran (6768m.snm) the highest mountain in Peru, Pisco Huandoy Chararaju and others. and then return to the camp.

It’s an easy day descend the moraine to the bus station to return to Huaraz.
