Paso Del Zorro Trek

Trekking route that visits the 4 lagoons in Huaraz is also known as “Trekking Paso del Zorro”. This walk is an unforgettable experience since the circuit unites the 4 lagoons: Ahuac, Mullaca, Carhuac and Radián; with more than 20 km of route. In addition, you will be able to observe the snowy Vallunaraju up close accompanied by 2 twin lagoons (Mullaca and Carhuac), in addition to the mountain range of the Cordillera Blanca with its highest peaks such as Huascaran, Chopicalqui and Huandoy.

Itinerary:

Departure from Huaraz, with transportation to the town of Willcahuain, around 40 minutes, then walk approximately 2 and 30 minutes to the first Ahuac lagoon. After a break to relax and hydrate, continue ascending for approximately 2 hours to the highest point, which is Paso del Zorro. Then descend for an average of 1 hour to the Mullaca and Carhuac lagoons, overnight.

After breakfast, we pack up all our equipment and visit the Carhuac lagoon and its surroundings in an average of 1 hour. Afterwards, we go down for 3 hours to the Radian lagoon, which is the last point of visit, after that, we go down to Recrish for 1 hour and 30 minutes, where the car awaits us to go down to Huaraz.
