Wonderful walk around the most beautiful World Mountain
This beautiful circuit is designed for people who have had previous experience of hiking. Proper acclimatization is important to make this beautiful and long walk. That brings together two important circuits that run through the ravines of Los Cedros. We cross several steps high on the 4,700 m. We will have stunning views of the Cullicocha, Jatuncocha Taullicocha and lagoons. Observe snowy as the Alpamayo considered the most beautiful mountain in the world in the contest scenic photograph of Munich 1966, Santa Cruz, Taulliraju and Chacraraju.
Itinerary:
Departure from Huaraz in private transport, passing through the cities of the Callejon de Huaylas, (Carhuaz, Yungay and Caraz) and then take the detour Colcas and go to the village of Hualcayan (3,140 m.), Where we will start the walk, ascending zigzag through a bridle path to Huishcash, where the first camp will be installed. From this place we enjoyed watching a beautiful sunset of the Cordillera Negra.
Duration: 5 to 6 hours approx.
This day awaits us two very important steps, but first we will see the Azulcocha and Yanacocha lagoon, then move to the edge of the lagoon Cullicocha (4620 m). then we ascend to the first step Osoruri (4860 m.) and the second step of Vientunan (4770 m), from here we have the best views of Nevado Santa Cruz (6260 m) and Milluacocha (5480 m) then descend to the campsite Ruinapampa (4400 m)

This day we walked dare the ravine of Cedros and go towards the Alpamayo ravine from here we see the Nevado Pilanco (5,373 m), and also view most impressive of the northwest face of Alpamayo (5947 m) in the valley of Jancarurish it is the third campsite.

Due to the good location this day do not have to move our camp, if not we do a little walk of about 3 hours. near the Jancarurish lagoon to see the pyramid shape of Alpamayo (5,947 m.), from this place the picture with the Alpamayo is considered the “Most Beautiful Mountain of the World” was taken, also shown in its best splendor snowcapped Tayapampa, Jancarurish, and Quitaraju (6,036 m).

This day Gara Gara cross the pass (4,830 m) and from this step is a fantastic view of Nevado Jancarurish, Quitaraju, Rinrijirca and Santa Cruz, we descend into the valley of Moyobamba, then to the passage of Mesapampa (4500 m). The campsite is in the valley of Huillca (4300 m).
Duration: 5 hours approx.
This day will cross the Yanacon (4,600 m.) Step Yanajanca descend the ravine, we pass the Laguna Sactaycocha. Camping near the village of Jancapampa.
Duration: 5 hours approx.
We walked towards the village of Pishgopampa (3600 m), then climb the gorge Tingopampa to the Tupa-Tupa (4400 m) step, during our descent we will see the Huecrucocha lagoon and find a typical village and talk with residents. Camping in Quishuar (3 800 m).
Duration: 5-6 hours approx.
Departure from the campsite Quishuar to the high pass Pucaraju (4650 m), 4 hours .. From this point we can see the highest mountains of the Cordillera Blanca and Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Chacraraju and also very close to the Taulliraju (5830 m), then descend to Tuctu (4,200 m), instead of camping.

This last day, we walk 7 km approx. Dare Valley Huaripampa. Our walk will always be surrounded by forests of trees Quenual, we passed through small towns like: Huaripampa, Chachaspucru up to Vaquería, end of our walk. Transport back to Huaraz.
